This week the team explored way to save the data into the Firebase and how to retrieve that data back from the Firebase. We learned that our users mostly like would not be writing into our database but would only be consuming data that we add to the database.  Our plan is to block any outside writing into the data base except by an admin and allow the read capability by everyone.  Below you would find our first sample string that we saved to the database and tried reading it back. Making some great progress. 

Welcome to team saddlebacks blog! We are proposing to make the Aguie Nav Web App, which will be used to help perspective Augustana Students get to know our campus and find their way around if they decide to visit in person. We hope that this blog will allow people to engage with our project as we start this journey. We planning on having the following features: Zooming in and out Search for locations User-friendly and easy to navigate between different areas of the application Display pictures of locations (maybe even a 3-D view) Be able to provide accurate information regarding the specific locations to users Add to favorites or save a location We plan to use react, material UI, and firebase to help us complete this project.
